Services

Traditional Acupuncture

A healing method rooted in East Asian medicine that uses very fine, sterile needles inserted at specific points on the body to regulate the flow of Qi, support organ function, and restore internal balance. By stimulating these points, acupuncture helps reduce pain, improve circulation, calm the nervous system, and promote overall wellness.

Neuro-Acupuncture

A specialized form of acupuncture that targets the nervous system to treat conditions like stroke, chronic pain, paralysis, and other neurological disorders. By stimulating specific points on the scalp and body, it promotes healing, improves mobility, sensation, and supports overall nervous system recovery. This advanced technique is designed to enhance function and support recovery for a wide range of neurological conditions.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Tier 1, pharmaceutical-grade herbs manufactured in Taiwan and Asia. All herbal supplements meet the highest manufacturing and stringent guidelines.

Cupping Therapy

A valuable treatment method used in traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional cupping therapy involves creating a vacuum-suction in a glass or plastic cup used commonly to eliminate pain-related disorders.

Heat Therapy

Far Infrared Magnetic Heat Therapy (FIM) uses localized heat to areas of pain or trauma to help relax muscle, increase circulation and expedite healing.

Gua Sha

A traditional East Asian manual therapy technique in which a practitioner uses a smooth-edged tool to apply repeated, unidirectional scraping strokes on lubricated skin. This promotes circulation, releases muscle tension, and stimulates the body’s natural healing responses. It is commonly used for pain, stiffness, headaches, respiratory conditions, and general stagnation.

Tuina & Shiatsu

Tuina is a traditional Chinese medical massage using rhythmic pressing, kneading, stretching, and joint mobilization to promote circulation, reduce pain, and restore balance. Shiatsu, a Japanese bodywork technique, applies comfortable, sustained pressure along specific channels to improve energy flow, relieve tension, and support overall wellness. Both modalities use targeted, hands-on techniques to encourage the body’s natural healing and balance.

Liniments & Pain Plasters

Analgesic and anti-inflammatory medicinal oils applied to sore muscles or areas of pain.

WHAT DOCTORS DON’T TELL YOU: REBUILDING THE BODY AFTER CANCER TREATMENT

MAY, 2022

“There are really three phases in Chinese herbal medicine,” says TCM doctor Darin Bunch from Santa Barbara, California. “The first step is symptomatic care. Then comes corrective care, and then prophylactic care. Chinese medicine is very fluid. It moves with people’s symptoms, almost like it dances with them, constantly having this synergistic strengthening effect. It’s very gentle, and yet it has powerful effects in its gentleness.”
